Peak

Privacy Policy

Effective June 30, 2026 · Last updated October 21, 2026

Peak is a personal-records tracker for serious lifters, made by Working Order Studio. It is built to need none of your personal data. This page explains what that means in practice.

The short version

Peak does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. We have no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party software-development kits in the app. Your lift history belongs to you.

What Peak stores, and where

Everything you enter — your lifts, sets, estimated and all-time 1RMs, baselines, and app preferences — is stored locally on your device.

If you have iCloud enabled, Peak can mirror that data to your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so it stays in sync across your Apple devices and survives a new phone. This data lives in your personal iCloud container. Working Order Studio cannot see it, access it, or retrieve it — it never reaches our servers, because we do not operate any.

Photos and videos you attach

Peak lets you attach one photo or video to any logged set, if you want to. This is entirely optional — nothing is attached unless you choose a photo or video yourself.

One case does this for you: if you share a PR card that has a photo or video background, Peak also attaches that photo or video to the set the PR came from, unless that set already has an attachment. You can delete it from the set like any other attachment.

Attachments are compressed on your device (photos are resized down to 2048 pixels; videos are trimmed to their first 30 seconds and encoded at 720p) and then stored with the rest of that lift's data, in your own private iCloud account — the same place your lift history lives, and under the same rule: Working Order Studio cannot see it, access it, or retrieve it.

You can share an attachment through the system share sheet, or delete it, at any time from the set it's attached to. Deleting an attachment removes it from your device and from your iCloud data.

What we collect

Nothing. Peak has no account system, no sign-up, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, or health data, and we do not measure how you use the app. Peak does let you attach a photo or video to a logged set if you choose to — see "Photos and videos you attach" above for exactly how that works.

Photos-library access

When you choose a photo or video — as a set attachment, or as a background for a share card — Peak uses Apple's built-in photo picker. That picker runs outside of Peak; the app only ever receives the specific photo or video you pick, and never sees the rest of your photo library.

If you use "Save to Photos" from the share sheet, Peak asks for permission to add that one image to your library — it cannot see or read your existing photos with that permission.

A photo or video you pick as a share-card background is used only to render that one share card. It is never saved by Peak and never leaves your device — it is not stored in iCloud and is not part of your lift data. This is different from a set attachment (above), which is deliberately saved with your lift data.

Purchases

Peak offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock unlimited lifts. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment-card details; Apple tells the app only whether the unlock has been purchased. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Third parties

Peak does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking services. The only external party involved is Apple, through iCloud (your private sync) and the App Store (your purchase) — both under your own Apple ID.

Your control over your data

Children

Peak is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them. Because Peak collects no personal data at all, this is true of every user.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected before they take effect.
